American Stewards of Liberty is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting private property rights, defending the use of our land, and restoring local control.
The Blackland Coalition was active in fighting the Trans-Texas
Corridor, but is now inactive.

The Blackland Prairie Concerned Citizens Association became
inactive for a few years, but is now in the process of reactivating.
CorridorWatch.org was instrumental in
defeating the Trans-Texas Corridor.
Their website is no longer actively updated, but is a
repository of many materials related to the Corridor and the fight
against it.

Founded by Linda Curtis, the League of
Independent Voters of Texas, a non-profit membership association for
all voters, regardless of party affiliation, was responsible for an
organized assault on the Corridor.
Sal founded People for Efficient Transportation and was known as
The Muckracker. He was a
major influence against the Corridor, but has now moved.
His blog is inactive, but still contains lots of background
research.
Founded by Terri Hall, Texans Uniting for Reform and Freedom and
Terri were major influences in fighting the Corridor.
She has continued to fight against toll roads.

The Texas 391 Commission Alliance is the organization of small
communities that fought the Corridor.
This blog explains how the Eastern Central Texas Sub-Regional
Planning Commission defeated the Corridor with the help of Dan and
Margaret Byfield and Fred Kelly Grant of American Stewards.
They implemented the coordination process which is provided
for in Chapter 391 Texas Local Government Code.

current plans for the Dallas – Houston bullet train.
They are combating eminent domain for private use and oppose
any tax-subsidized passenger railway.
